We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Revise, a Mass Save partner, to collaboratively offer solar installations and no-cost energy audits to Massachusetts homeowners.
Revise offers you a no-cost assessment that analyzes how energy is used in your home. This can help pinpoint certain areas for improvement in your energy savings. It also helps familiarize you with incentives or rebates you may be eligible for. Keep reading to find out how Revise can help you save on your electric bill.
Who Is Revise?
Founded in 2016, Revise is a contractor with the Mass Save Program that conducts no cost energy audits for Massachusetts residences. Revise also offers cost-effective energy management solutions with 0% financing. Revise has multiple locations throughout the state, providing cost-effective solutions for home improvement across Massachusetts.
Mass-Save Partner
In an effort to make home energy assessments affordable and accessible, Revise partners with Mass Save. The Mass Save program covers any service that Revise may administer to improve your household energy efficiency. A small charge on Massachusetts utility bills supports the funds that make Mass Save resources available. Since Massachusetts utility customers are already paying this small fee, the benefits come at no additional cost!
Outlining Cost-Saving Energy Alternatives
Revise provides you with an in-depth assessment of your home’s energy usage in an effort to cut down your energy bills. This energy audit provides both a detailed report of your unique energy use and suggests potential investments and simple upgrades that will decrease your utility bills.
The Energy Audit Process
The energy assessment process is smooth from start to finish. Revise will carefully evaluate your home through a simple and organized method and is committed to honesty and understanding every step of the way. We stand firm in the belief that making this process both simplistic and thorough benefits homeowners tremendously.
Before meeting with your designated Home Energy Manager, it’s important to know what to expect. Identify your concerns, which may include temperature and ventilation issues, expensive utility bills, and/or any previous construction or renovations that may have negatively impacted your energy usage.
During the assessment, the Home Energy Manager will complete a Health & Safety Evaluation of your home to rule out any possible safety hazards. They will then make sure your home is properly insulated and ventilated, and check the exterior of your home for the potential of larger upgrades like installing solar panels. After that, they’ll install some instant savings measures listed below. At the end of the assessment, your Energy Manager will review your energy saving opportunities and discuss next steps for implementing these recommendations.
Implementing Power-Saving Upgrades
With a vested interest in accessible and affordable energy, Revise’s energy audits provide a chance to get free power-saving upgrades. These include, but are not limited to:
- LED light bulbs
- Water-saving shower heads
- Faucet aerators
- Programmable thermostats
- Advanced power strips (APS) to automatically turn off home electronics not in use
- And other energy saving technologies
